In a recent post, the Swell official X account said the agenda for the much-anticipated Ripple event, which brings together executives and leaders from some of the biggest names in traditional finance and crypto, is now live.

Swell 2026 is a three-day event on October 27–29 that will combine Ripple's Swell and Apex conferences for the first time and is scheduled to feature more than 100 speakers and 80 sessions.

The lineup of speakers includes Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Terrence Duffy of CME Group, Tom Farley of Bullish, actor and co-founder of Water.org Matt Damon, and leaders from BNY, Coinbase, Robinhood, Barclays, State Street, and Jump Trading.

Across three stages, the Swell event will cover where finance is heading: liquidity and settlement, tokenization of real-world assets, and stablecoins in bank-grade production. The first year of spot XRP ETFs, AI agents that move money, and post-quantum security will also be discussed at the event, while Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz will discuss what's next for the XRP Ledger.

Agenda revealed

The agenda lineup remains exhaustive, with this report merely covering a few highlights.

On day 1 of the event, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse will take the main stage at the Swell event to share his opening remarks. A 20-minute conversation with the Ripple chief will then follow. Ripple President Monica Long will subsequently take the main stage in a conversation with Johann Kerbrat, SVP and GM of Crypto at Robinhood.

Terrence Duffy of CME Group is also expected to take the main stage in a separate conversation expected to provide insights to participants.

Aanchal Malhotra, Ripple research scientist, will discuss the next frontier for XRPL research, while Jasmine Cooper, RippleX head of product, will explore the XRPL roadmap aimed at building the institutional DeFi stack.

In a conversation titled 'What Happens When AI Moves Money,' Mastercard's Massimo Cervesato, Nilesh Dusane of Amazon Web Services, alongside Henri Stern, co-founder of Privy, and Edward Woodford of ZeroHash will discuss AI and agentic finance with regard to crypto infrastructure and payments.

Ripple software engineer Mayukha Vadari will explore a new paradigm for building on the XRP Ledger with respect to 'smart features.'

David Schwartz, Ripple CTO Emeritus, and JA Akinyele will discuss 'Building What's Next for XRPL.' In another segment of the event, Ripple SVP of stablecoins Jack McDonald alongside Coinbase Institutional co-CEO Brett Tejpaul will discuss the advancement of crypto infrastructure.

On day 2 of the Swell event, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse will take the main stage in a conversation with Tom Farley, CEO of Bullish, offering further insights to participants.
