With one of NEAR's biggest price rallies in months and the total value locked throughout its ecosystem approaching $190 million, NEAR Protocol is getting close to a significant DeFi milestone. According to data provided by DeFiLlama, NEAR's TVL is roughly $187.

The market picture finally stabilizes

25 million, meaning the network is less than $3 million short of the $190 million mark. TVL is down 4.92% over the most recent 24-hour period, but the overall graph indicates a significant recovery from the lows set earlier in 2026. Beyond TVL, the ecosystem is also producing significant activity.

According to the provided data, there are 52,391 active addresses and a 24-hour decentralized exchange volume of about $84.19 million. The market value of stablecoins is roughly $79.86 million. In contrast to $48,646 in app fees, app revenue over a 24-hour period was $64,657.

Because NEAR has experienced a massive repricing, the timing is crucial. After an almost vertical breakout from the $2.30–$2.50 range, NEAR is currently trading at about $3.60. Before experiencing profit-taking, the token momentarily reached its highest level on the displayed chart, roughly $3.90. The rally has coincided with a significant increase in trading volume, which is noteworthy.

With significant momentum, NEAR broke through its prior May–June highs around $2.80–$3.00, transforming what had been significant resistance into the first crucial support area. However, short-term overheating is evident. While the rejection around $3.80–$3.90 shows that sellers are emerging following the quick advance, the RSI has reached elevated territory.

Trend changes in waves

Additionally, NEAR is still well above its major moving averages, which raises the likelihood of further volatility or consolidation. Right now, the first significant support is located between $3.40 and $3.50. The major breakout zone, which is located between $2.80 and $3.00, comes after $3.10–$3.20.

Bulls, on the other hand, must reclaim the $3.80–$3.90 range before they can challenge the psychological $4.00 level. The impending TVL milestone of $190 million adds a crucial element to NEAR's recent growth.

It is not appropriate to treat price and TVL as directly equivalent because price has changed much more quickly than TVL. However, the rally has an ecosystem-level backdrop — due to growing locked capital and significant DEX activity — rather than relying solely on speculative price momentum.
