In Brief

  • Ethereum (ETH): ETH trades at $2,455 just below resistance near $2,490, with strong support around $2,310 and a daily close above $2,490 needed to open the way to $2,600.

  • Uniswap (UNI): UNI is stuck between $6.80 and $7.85 after a roughly 30% drop from its peak, and it needs a close above $7.85 to turn bullish.

  • Dogecoin (DOGE): DOGE trades at $0.0816 and is fighting to hold $0.0800, with resistance at $0.0860 and a close above $0.0925 needed to confirm a trend change.

  • Shiba Inu (SHIB): SHIB trades at $0.00000514 below key resistance at $0.00000528, and holding the $0.00000500 level is critical to keep the pattern of higher lows alive.

Ethereum (ETH) Cools Off

Ethereum is cooling off after a strong September run, and it is now sitting at a key level. ETH trades at $2,455 after failing near $2,800 in late September. The price is just below the blue line at approximately $2,490, which has turned into resistance.

Earlier this week, ETH dipped to approximately $2,310 and bounced quickly. That area is where the orange line near $2,355 and the black 200-day line near $2,310 sit together, so buyers have a strong base there. Volume was high at the bounce, which shows real demand at that level. Sellers did not have enough strength to push the price lower, and the quick recovery shows that dip buyers are active.

The RSI is near 40, so momentum is soft but not extreme. There is room for a move in either direction.

The first sign of strength would be a daily close above $2,490. That would put the blue line back below price and open the way to $2,600, where the green line and the recent lower highs sit. A move above $2,600 could bring the $2,700 area back into view.

The bearish case is also clear. A close below $2,310 could break the whole support zone at once, since the orange and black lines are stacked together there. In that case, ETH could slide toward $2,100, where it traded before the big August jump.

For now, ETH is in a pause. Support is strong, but resistance above is near, and the next couple of daily closes will show who has control.

Uniswap (UNI) Stuck in a Tight Range

Uniswap has lost a lot of ground since its September peak, and now it is stuck in a tight range. UNI trades at $7.39, down from a high near $10.90. Over the last week, price has moved between $6.80 and $7.60 without a clear direction. It sits right at the blue line near $7.35, which has acted as both support and resistance in those sessions. The green line at approximately $7.85 is the next ceiling.

The RSI is near 50, meaning neither buyers nor sellers are in control. After a drop of approximately 30% from the top, the market looks tired, and the small candles with long wicks show that traders are unsure.

The upside case begins with a close above $7.85. That would show buyers are taking back control and could open the way to $8.50, then the $9.00 area where UNI was rejected in early October. A full return to $10.00 would need a much stronger move and higher volume.

The downside case needs attention too. Support under the range is far away. The orange line sits near $6.25 and the black 200-day line near $5.40. If UNI closes below $6.80, there may be little in the way until $6.25, so the move could be fast. A drop to that level could still keep the larger uptrend alive, since price would stay above both long-term lines.

UNI often follows ETH, so the Ethereum chart matters here too. If ETH holds its support, UNI has a good chance to stay in its range and try the upside. If ETH breaks down, UNI will likely fall faster. Until UNI leaves the $6.80 to $7.85 range, traders are waiting for a clear signal.

Dogecoin (DOGE) Fights to Hold $0.0800

Dogecoin is trading at $0.0816 after a rough start to October. The coin was rejected near $0.1060 in late September, and the black 200-day line around $0.0925 capped every attempt to push higher. Once that failed, DOGE slid below the orange, blue and green lines, and they all now sit above price as resistance.

The new dip reached about $0.0777 before buyers pulled price back above $0.0800. That day came with the highest volume in weeks, and the long lower wick shows that sellers ran out of energy for the moment. It is a good sign, but one candle does not change the trend. Today's candle is small, and price remains under every moving average.

The RSI is around 45, so momentum leans toward sellers without being oversold. There is room to fall before the market looks stretched.

The first task for buyers is to defend $0.0800. This area held in mid-September and once more this week, so it is the bottom of the current range. A close below it would put the $0.0777 wick low in play, and under that, the $0.0750 area becomes the next stop.

For a recovery, DOGE needs to climb back above the orange line near $0.0860. That is the first real test, since the blue and green lines sit just above it at $0.0870 and $0.0875. These averages are packed close together, so they might act as one wall. Breaking through would take a strong-volume day.

Until then, DOGE looks like a coin in a pause. Bounces keep getting sold under $0.0860, but dips keep getting bought near $0.0800, so the range holds.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Wants $0.00000500 Back

Shiba Inu trades at $0.00000514 after a sharp drop earlier this month. The coin reached $0.00000627 in late September, then failed at the black 200-day line near $0.00000562. Since then, price has slipped below the green, blue and orange lines, and the structure looks weak.

The new dip went down to $0.00000483 before buyers stepped in. The long lower wick suggests that sellers could not keep control at that level, but the bounce has been small. Volume remains low compared with earlier rallies, which means few traders are putting money behind the recovery. The RSI is near 40, so momentum remains on the side of sellers.

The $0.00000500 level is the line to watch. SHIB has bounced from it several times, and it is the round number many traders use as support. If price closes below it, the next stop is the September low near $0.00000475, then $0.00000460. A break of these levels could put the August low near $0.00000435 back in view.

On the upside, the orange line near $0.00000528 is the first hurdle. It sits only about 3% above price, so SHIB can reach it quickly, but it was support and has now turned into a ceiling. Above it, the blue and green lines near $0.00000538 and $0.00000545 are packed together and may be hard to clear without a strong-volume day. The black line at $0.00000562 is the final test for a trend change.

Still, the pattern of higher lows is alive. The August low was $0.00000435, the September low $0.00000475, and this week's low $0.00000483. Right now, SHIB is in a quiet zone. Small bounces are possible, but without more volume they are likely to vanish below the orange line, so buyers need to show up in size.
